Boo-Nilla Shakes

Today I found these cute little Boo-Nilla Shakes on Martha Stewart's website. Aren't these so cute. I found these little glasses at Pier One Imports. They are becoming such a hot trend right now. Great to add desserts and display it. I am using mine for Thanksgiving. These shakes are simple. Just follow this recipe.

1- cup of whole milk

2- pints of vanilla ice cream

1- cup of heavy cream

1 table spoon of confectioner sugar

Mix it all up in the blender and poor into your glass.

Make the faces with melted chocolate and paint it inside the glass before you pour.

~FALL~

I LOVE fall. I love that it gets darker early, Love that the weather is cooler. I love to decorate in the great harvest colors, so I get out my pumpkins, my harvest yard signs and get it all ready for the season. Best of all I love the way my house smells with the candles burning all the time. My house smells like someone is baking all the time. So I decided this year to post some of my favorite blogs out there and what great Fall ideas they have. I will be trying some myself.

The first blog is The Cupcake Blog. They always have great ideas for all holidays, but this one I could not pass up and share. How cute is this? All this takes is on cupcake liner. It's simple and fast and dresses up a cupcake without you having to get so detailed. You can even do this for birthday parties too.

Happy Anniversary

Today is my anniversary. My husband and I have been married for 17 years. Gosh time has just flew by. I am so grateful that I have Roger in my life. He is an amazing father, husband, and friend. He supports everything I do. He is there to pick me up when I am feeling down, to help with the kids, and when anyone needs him he is the first to help. Some people might not know but I have known Roger since I was 13 years old.

In my diary it says I am going to marry him when I grow up.

French Macarons

The other night I was watching my new favorite show Dessert First. I was glued to the TV on how easy she makes it seem. She was making French Macaroons. I have seen these cute little cookie filled desserts all over and wanted to try it myself. They came out perfect! I boxed them up in a cake box and took them to my parents house for dinner. They all thought they were purchased at a bakery. Everyone loved them. You must try it!

Tifany Bridal Shower

A few weeks ago I did a bridal shower for such a nice couple!. Her theme was Tiffany. I realized after the party was decorated how chair covers can make a simple party look more rich and give it that touch to finish it all off!. I now will tell all my clients to go for the chair covers. It completes a party! Let me know what you think!

Blogging

I have to admit I am not a good blogger. I really try to blog but I find myself a loss for words. I think I get nervous writing in this big blank spot and then sending it off for all to read. I need to attend one of those blog camps. Take notes and then be ready to tackle this. I have so much to share with everyone. My goal this week is to blog!
