Happy Easter

Happy Easter!!

I want to share with you my Easter Wreath I made this year.

My old one was falling apart. I had all these extra Easter eggs left

over from my classroom. I decided to put them into good use!

I cut my Styrofoam and took each plastic egg and glued it to the foam.

I used the green Easter basket grass where it needed to be filled in

which gave the wreath a full look.

That was it.

I love them! They are hanging on my door outside.

Make sure to save your plastic eggs.

Last of Danielle's Sweet Sixteen PIctures

Before I show you the cake I wanted to show you these beautiful roses that were the centerpieces. They were so perfect. Each table had 16 long stem pink roses. I loved them. Aren't they so pretty?

The cake was the attention getter for all at the party. It was 3 tiered and of course pink and black. the icing was made with fondant. Danielle only wanted vanilla cake and raspberry creme filling. The cake tasted great!! We had a big fondant bow as the topper and a tag that was made out of fondant as well that displayed Sweet 16.

I also wanted to show you what I did with the donuts. I wasn't sure I would have enough mini cupcakes so I ran to the store bought mini donuts and decorated them. They really came out so cute and everyone loved them. They tasted great!

I hope you enjoyed the pictures of the party. I would love to hear your comments and feedback on what you thought of it!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy Sweet Sixteen to my baby girl!!

Part 3 The Candy Table

Our Candy table came out beautiful! The table sign that was made was painted in pink and of course had bling all around it.

Black tablecloth a hot pink tablecloth was used to blend all the colors together. All candy was in pink and black.

To even out the table I used a 3 tier cake stand with of course bling again around it. filled with mini cupcakes and donuts, all frosted with pink icing. On the top I made a six inch cake in pink. For the cake topper I made her initial and glittered it in silver.

All the scooper's were blinged and the tags were handmade using glitter ribbon to tie around the jars. I also used pink and black bags and tagged them with Danielle's initial and glittered that too.

At a garage sale I found this really cool napkin holder. I spray painted it white and used it to put all the tag home bags in them.

Come back tomorrow and see the cake!

My Daughter Danielle's Sweet Sixteen Part 1

After 9 months of planning the day finally arrived for my daughter

Danielle's sweet sixteen.

We invited over 100 guests and everyone had an amazing time. The colors were black and hot pink. Everyone had to come dressed in black and Danielle was the only one in pink. Her dress was beautiful made by Sherri Hill. pink with silver Swarovski Crystals. Here is Danielle in her beautiful dress

Her name for her candle lighting was made out of Styrofoam with my favorite machine. All the letters were glittered in hot pink

glued onto a black glittered platform.

The number 16 was glittered in silver.

The tables had black overlays with black chair covers and hot pink sashes. All the napkins had napkin rings that were blinged. Tulle was hung on the ceiling with little lights going through it. 2 dozen roses were the centerpieces. The vases were wrapped in black tulle with bling on them laying on a mirror

Tomorrow I will share with you some great pictures of our Candy buffet, fountain and some great decor that was made for this event.
